Munjal Shah has worked as a serial entrepreneur in various industries. Having founded four companies since entering the field in 1999, Shah saw his work take off when he founded a machine learning computer vision company, gaining popularity before its acquisition by Google in 2010.

Following his sale to Google, Shah would undergo a health scare that would leave him focusing on the future of healthcare. Shah said, “I spent the entire day in the ER, knowing that my dad had experienced something similar to his first heart attack in his 40s. I was 37.”

Shah said, “I changed my entire worldview when it came to my health and the broader health system.”

In education, Shah attended and graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Shah would then earn his Master’s in Computer Science with a specialization in AI from Stanford University.
